It is an innovative lifestyle that combats disease and aging, promotes rejuvenation and emotional well-being, and values people, animals and the environment.

Chemical dominance and environmental pollution age you and make you unhealthy. When I was in my early twenties, I ate everything, without thinking, and I assumed my body would keep me healthy, but I always felt tired. A blood check revealed anemia, on top of a severe lack of iron and vitamins. My skin was pale, I had brittle nails, split ends, bleeding gums and was 7 kg overweight. Every year I suffered from flu and colds. Commercial cosmetics gave me dehydrated skin, premature wrinkles, eczema and skin allergies. Nail polish made my nails yellow, fluorine corroded my tooth enamel, and tooth bleaching gave me toothaches. Even though I was not seriously ill (yet), my body was already showing many ailments and signs of premature aging. I was indignant that this could happen to me at a young age and angered at politicians and the cosmetic and food industries for allowing unhealthy products into the market. I did not want to become dependent on the pills and healthcare institutions of the pharmaceutical industry and decided to protect myself and improve my habits.

From the age of 20 I worked as a model. I traveled the world, from New York to Milan, Paris and London. I worked for the best designers and top photographers and immersed myself in the jet set. It was a high-level lifestyle that consisted of hotels, restaurant food and lots of makeup and hairstyles. It all looks like glitz and gold, but behind the scenes are hard working people, who knock off long hours, have to travel a lot and live off a quick bite on the go. It was no different for me. Staying healthy with a fresh look and lots of energy was a real challenge for a model and also my own responsibility. Photoshop was still very expensive in the 90s. Therefore, the fashion industry demanded models who were always perfect. Since my income depended on it, I asked my fellow models and Hollywood stars for advice. But they didn't have the answers I was looking for. How do you stay fresh and healthy naturally? Like everyone else, they had faith in the promises of expensive cosmetic devices and unnatural procedures from dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
An innate passion for Mother Nature and a motivation to stay beautiful and healthy as long as possible - this time in a natural way - led me to masses of American books by natural health scientists. I read all about the benefits of nature in the areas of health, nutrition, diseases and ailments and skincare. In addition, I studied environmental pollution and learned how industries make our consumer products. Every time I discovered something new - or a scandal broke out about consumer goods or environmental pollution - I adjusted my habits. My health, youthful appearance and energy returned. I was finally in control of my well-being and appearance, and I knew which media stories were true and which were false.
